PETpanel has been used to create a sustainable, stylish solution that reduces reverberation and provides pleasant acoustics. In both the circulation spaces and the gym, functionality, robustness and playful design go hand in hand.

Playful design, calm spaces

For this project at De Rietpluim, we showed that acoustic comfort and playful design go hand in hand. The walls in the circulation area are fitted with PETpanel 9 mm featuring a V-Groove tree pattern.

The panel not only absorbs sound effectively in a busy school environment, but also provides the perfect base for creative wall decoration. PETpanel's excellent acoustic properties effectively reduce reverberation in the central circulation spaces. A sustainable, attractive and functional solution made for everyday life!

Maximum acoustic performance

The gym

A gym places high demands on both acoustics and the impact resistance of its walls. For this project, PETpanel 18 mm in the stylish colour Silver Grey/12 was selected as wall cladding. Behind the PETpanel is a layer of DENIMpanel 45 mm, a high-quality sound-absorbing material made from recycled jeans.

This combination provides maximum absorption of loud sports noises and voices, turning the gym into a calm, pleasant place for sport. The robust properties of PETpanel also make the wall highly resistant to the everyday demands of sports and play.
